December 13, 2014 - Vingroup began construction of The Landmark81, part of the luxury Vinhomes Central Park urban township. The building is scheduled for completion in late 2017 and will set the record as the tallest building in Vietnam. Its first-for-Vietnam ultra-luxury facilities will make it the most luxurious building in the country and the new symbol of prosperity and dynamic growth for Ho Chi Minh City.
The 81-story building rises over 350 meters in the heart of the Vinhomes Central Park urban township on the banks of the Saigon River. Landmark81’s 141,000 square meters will include a hotel, serviced apartments, officetels, a shopping center, bars, restaurants and an observation deck.
The 5-star-plus Vinpearl hotel floors will have approximately 450 rooms, including an ultra-luxury 1,000-m2 presidential suite boasting a 360-degree panorama of the city. Landmark81 will also have about 900 high-end Vinhomes apartments and officetels. These five and six-star luxury 400m2 units feature majestic 180-degree views. The Restaurant and Sky Bar sit on the 66th and 67th floors, offer a 360-degree panorama of the city and will be among the finest in the world. Visitors to the 79th floor observation deck will have a spectacular view of Ho Chi Minh city and its surroundings. The 59,000-square-meter Vincom Center mall sits at the base of Landmark81, conveniently connected to the basement. The mall will feature an impressive collection of the finest retailers under one roof for the ultimate shopping experience. Finally, Landmark81 anchors a large public square with a modern water fountain, looking out to a lush public park and the winding Saigon River.
Landmark81 will set many first-in-Vietnam records aside from its height. The observation deck and apartments will both claim “highest in Vietnam” honors. The bar and restaurant will be Southeast Asia’s highest. At the same time, the skyscraper will be the most luxurious building in Vietnam as a result of the collaboration of the world’s best design firms. Specifically, the architectural design is by Atkins, architect for the Bahrain World Trade Center, the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Saudi Arabia and the Lotus Hotel in Shanghai. The structural design is by Arup, famous for the Sidney Opera House and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The interior design will come from the world’s most luxurious brands such as Versace and Armani.
Landmark81 is the heart of Vinhomes Central Park. It is the central attraction of the urban area and conveniently connects to other buildings in the project. It is sure to be the most desirable address in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Landmark81 is part of Vinhomes Central Park, the most desirable modern luxury urban township in Vietnam, developed by Vingroup and located in the Saigon New Port area of Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.
